Brian Angevine has been teaching about 25 years, since 1984 at West.  He has many degrees including Bachelors in Music Education (Phillips University), Masters in Music Education (Wichita State), Ph.D in Music Education (KU), and Certification for Administration (Emporia State and KU). 

Dr. Angevine is highly creative and has written several novels, short stories, poetry and music compositions.  Entrepreneurship is also a strength with several years of activity in the insurance business and ownership of his own canoe rental company in Berryville, Arkansas.

Hobbies include golf, fly fishing for trout, hiking at his cabin in Colorado, snow skiing, reading, all kinds of music, use of computers for various things.
