My world view has changed a lot since the study of WWII. Whenever I used to hear WWII; I just thought about a few people dying. Now whenever I here WWII being mentioned, I think of all the sorrow and pain so many people suffered. I think of how people risked their lives to fight for what’s right.

Adolph Hitler. Now there’s someone who changed my view. I always got mad that Hitler sent all the Jews to concentration camps and caused so much havoc. All of Hitler's life he heard that Jews were horrible and imperfect. They were always the perfect scapegoat. "It’s all the Jews fault." He probably heard that a lot. I now realize that even though he didn’t have to do anything to them, he viewed it as his duty to be mean to Jews. I don’t think he was right though, and I never will. Hitler changed me by showing to me that I shouldn’t get so mad all over a small thing that doesn’t really matter at all.

Concentration camps. Now that is something I’ll never get over. It must have been so horrible! The people that were in the concentration camps must have been scared. The people there got treated like animals! I will never be like that. Concentration camps have taught me to be kind and loving to all people.

Veterans are now a big thing to me. When we interviewed veterans, I thought it would be fun to learn about what they did. I never thought that they might leave this world any time soon. That’s why I was so shocked when the veteran I interviewed passed away. He really gave me the thought that I should live life to it’s fullest; like he did.

I think about world issues a lot now. That is how WWII has basically changed my live. It has also has influenced me to be the best that I can be. I should always help my country in any way, even if it’s just a little thing. I should try to be friends with everyone. Friends are very important to anyone. You never know when friends may come in handy. This study on WWII has really changed my view on the world. I realize that things in the world, such as fighting going on in Iraq, could maybe start up a WWIII. Now I try to be as helpful and kind as I can be. WWII has changed my world view a lot. I will always remember the brave soldiers that fought for what they believed in during WWII. WWII has made my life better in so many ways.
