3500 Gladstone Boulevard

This mansion like house was built on 3500 Gladstone Boulevard in 1888. When the house was first built, its front yard was the whole block. At one point, later in time, after the lots were divided up into lots, three judges lived there. The block was nicknamed “Judge’s Row. ’’The upper story wooden shingles are characteristics of the Shingle style. The symmetric lines and the entrance portico with its fan window are characteristics of the Georgia Rival style. This house is made of stone and brick with many beautiful windows and sturdy pillars holding it up.
