Lesson #7-Introduction: Eating and Using Chocolate

You will return to the Field Museum to take a look at another section called Eating Chocolate.  Read the introduction and then use the links below and read these sections:

Open a Word document. Choose TABLE, insert TABLE. (see image below) Insert a table that has 5 columns and 7 rows.  Merge the cells in the top row and put in a title called INTERESTING CHOCOLATE FACTS. In the cells in ROW 2 write the following topics:

Chocolate as Symbol
Chocolate as Cure
Chocolate, Gods and Government
Valentine's Day
Quick Health Facts

In each column write at least 5 interesting facts in each category.After you finish your table, print it and turn it in.

You will now take the Chocolate Challenge and see how well you learned The History of Chocolate.  When you finish the Chocolate Challenge you will take a look at chocolate recipes from around the world. Go to the next lesson.
