Our Rubbings

During our three field trips we took the opportunity to do some gravestone rubbings. We were surprised when hard to read text came alive on paper.  These photos show us doing some rubbings during our three days in the field.

When we were at the Fuller Family Cemetery we were even able to uncover a scripture on a decrepit gravestone; this was a surprise to Bob Fuller who had been wondering what the scripture said. .We found the scripture "weep not, for she is not dead, she sleepth."  We thought that was creepy.
