Mrs. Bosch Visits a Necropolis in Italy

On a Spring Break trip to Italy with my husband we visited an Amphitheater in a town called Pozzuolli, near where we were staying.  The Americans called it Potswally. The Amphitheater Flavi was in amazing condition and had been part of an archeological excavation until a few years ago. It was built by the same person who built the Coliseum in Rome.  I took dozens of pictures there but am sharing the ones that were a part of the Necropolis, the grave yard.  You will see grave markers that are thousands of years old that look just like the markers we see today. Click on the images to see a larger view.
