| Home | At the Briarwood Enhanced Learning Center, students work on a variety of different projects based on their talents and strengths. At the annual IEP (Individual Education Program) meeting, parents, teachers and the student set goals for the year. Students make individual choices about what they will learn based on their IEP goals. Some students complete creative projects, while others conduct research, solve problems, or expand their technology skills. The E.L. teachers act as facilitators in this process, helping the students plan their projects, find resources, and create a product, and also encouraging them to challenge themselves. The pictures below show some of the many projects students have worked on at the Briarwood E.L. Center. | |
