Agricultural Products: 

 

The main agricultural product grown in Cambodia is rice.

 

Exports: 

 

The main exports from Cambodia are timber, garments, rubber, soybeans, and sesame.  Rice, fruit, and vegetables are sold to Vietnam and northeastern Thailand. 

      

Income: 

 

The main income in this country is tourism.

 

Summary: 

 

Cambodia’s economy is based on agricultural products.  Cambodians are among the poorest people in the whole world.  The average income is around $700.  More than 80% of Cambodians are farmers.  A small amount of the people work in small-scale industries.
